Who Can Join On Point
On Point is open to students and adult learners who live in Onondaga, Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Oswego, or Cayuga County and are ready to pursue education or career growth. You can join if you are:
- A high school junior or senior preparing for your next step after graduation.
- A high school graduate planning to enter college or training.
- Working on or have completed a TASC or GED.
- Currently enrolled in college, a technical school, or a professional training program.
- Someone who has attempted postsecondary education before and wants to return to finish or try again.
No matter where you are on your journey, On Point is here to help you access education, succeed in your program, and build a meaningful career.
Access to College & Credentials
We break down the barriers that can keep people from pursuing education after high school. From navigating college and training program applications to understanding financial aid, we make higher education—in all its forms—attainable for first-generation students, adult learners, and anyone ready for a new start. This includes:
