Who We Serve

Most On Point students are low-income, first-generation college students ages 17–29.

Many face additional barriers, including being out of high school without access to a guidance counselor, refugee or immigrant status, housing insecurity, involvement with the foster care or court systems, or caring for dependent children.

Without On Point, many of these students would have no clear path to college or a meaningful career.

Alumni

Our alumni now serve as doctors, nurses, teachers, police officers, firefighters, business owners, politicians, scientists, youth workers, and more.

Refugees & Immigrants

Some have even returned to their home countries to open schools and medical clinics, extending the benefits of their education around the world.

Where Our Students Go

On Point students attend and graduate from hundreds of colleges and training programs across New York State and beyond—including SUNY and CUNY campuses, Ivy League universities, and specialized professional programs.
