At On Point for College, we believe that access to higher education and career opportunities can transform lives, families, and entire communities. Since 1999, we’ve helped thousands of young people overcome barriers to college and meaningful work—changing Central New York degree by degree.

Who We Serve
Most On Point students are low-income, first-generation college students ages 17–29.
Many face additional barriers, including being out of high school without access to a guidance counselor, refugee or immigrant status, housing insecurity, involvement with the foster care or court systems, or caring for dependent children.
Without On Point, many of these students would have no clear path to college or a meaningful career.

Some have even returned to their home countries to open schools and medical clinics, extending the benefits of their education around the world.
