Donor-Advised Funds

Recommend a grant to On Point through your donor-advised fund sponsor, such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or Vanguard Charitable. Please contact our Development Team if you need additional information to complete your recommendation.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities

Donating long-term appreciated securities — such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds — can be a tax-efficient way to support On Point. Contributing securities instead of cash may allow you to avoid capital gains tax while also receiving a charitable deduction for the fair market value of your gift.

If you’d like to make a gift of appreciated securities, please contact a member of our Development team for transfer instructions.

Contributions from Retirement Accounts

You may be able to support On Point by making a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA or other eligible retirement account. Giving this way can count toward your required minimum distribution and may provide tax advantages.

To explore this option or request transfer details, please contact our Development team or consult your financial advisor.

Create a lasting impact by including On Point in your estate or long-term giving plans. Popular options include bequests in a will or trust, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, and gifts of life insurance or retirement assets. These planned gifts can help you achieve your financial and philanthropic goals, may offer tax advantages, and ensure that future generations of students have the guidance and resources they need to succeed.

To explore legacy or planned giving opportunities, please contact our Development team.

Make your gift go even farther. Many companies match charitable donations made by their employees, sometimes doubling or even tripling the impact. Some employers also match gifts from retirees and spouses.

You can also ask your Human Resources department about their matching gifts process. Most companies provide a simple form or online portal. Once you complete your portion, we’ll take care of the rest.
